Forensic Psychiatrist.

Dr. Nicoli is located in Portland, Oregon and is an accomplished forensic psychiatrist with extensive experience working with and assessing adults and youth in the criminal justice system, families in crisis, high-risk youth populations, and children experiencing family separations. Dr. Nicoli completed his general psychiatry residency at Oregon Health & Science University, followed by a child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver, and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. During his child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship, he trained at Children's Hospital Colorado, which was ranked the 4th best Children's Hospital in the U.S. by *U.S. News & World Report*.
In his clinical work, Dr. Nicoli works in juvenile and adult detention centers, as well as with children and families in psychiatric hospitals. His training and experience has made him a trusted expert consultant in family, civil, and criminal cases. In addition, Dr. Nicoli has become well-known in his community for his educational talks on subjects ranging from *How to Work with an Expert Witness* to *The Effects of Cannabis on the Brain*.
